Activating Dial Backup Options

The dial backup options available from the M

AIN

menu (4=DIAL) appear

in Figure 12-1 . These options are only available when a dial backup card

is installed.

Dial Options when Dial Backup is Idle

Dial Backup

The IQ Probe prompts to dial a stored number or enter a number to dial

for dial backup.

Stay on Leased

The IQ Probe remains on the leased line and does not enter dial backup

mode.

Dial Backup Idle

1 DIAL BACKUP 1 DIAL STORED # Select stored number.

4 DIAL

2 STAY ON LEASED 2 ENTER DIAL # Enter number to dial.

During Dial Backup

1 HANG UP

2 STAY ON LEASED
