crypto ike remote-id
Use the crypto ike remote-id command to specify the remote ID and to associate a pre-shared key with
the remote ID.
Variations of this command include the following:
crypto ike remote-id address <IPv4 address> [no-mode-config]
crypto ike remote-id address <IPv4 address> preshared-key <keyname> [no-mode-config]
crypto ike remote-id fqdn <fqdn> [no-mode-config]
crypto ike remote-id fqdn <fqdn> preshared-key <keyname> [no-mode-config]
crypto ike remote-id user-fqdn <fqdn> [no-mode-config]
crypto ike remote-id user-fqdn <fqdn> preshared-key <keyname> [no-mode-config]

Syntax Description
address
<IPv4 address> Specifies a remote ID of IPv4 type.
fqdn
<fqdn> Specifies a fully qualified domain name (e.g., adtran.com) as the remote ID.
user-fqdn
<fqdn> Specifies a user fully qualified domain name (e.g., user1@adtran.com) as the
remote ID.
preshared-key
<keyname> Associates a pre-shared key with this remote ID.
no-mode-config
Optional keyword used to specify that the peer matching this remote-id
should not use mode config.

There are no default settings for this command.

Usage Examples
The following example assigns a remote ID of 192.168.1.1 and associates the pre-shared key
mysecret
with
the remote ID:
