VAP Security Settings

The VAP Security settings tab is located in the Virtual Access Point Configuration menu. Choose the

security mode of your preference from the drop-down menu.

Once the security setting is chosen from the drop-down menu, there will be an automatic prompt for the

appropriate information for the particular security setting. The example in Figure 24 uses a WPA setting

(

WPA: TKIP: EAP).

The AP and the client must have matching security settings. If using an authentication

server, the server settings will have to match the client’s as well. If using EAP, the client

and authentication server (RADIUS) must use the same EAP types.
