DS3 Test Menu
The DS3 Test menu (see Figure 6-47) provides testing options that can be run on DS3 A and
B.
CAUTION
Enabling a test on a DS3 interrupts customer payload on all DS1s
transported over the selected DS3.

Option Description Function
1 Data Mode When this mode is selected, no tests are active and
the customer payload is uninterrupted.
2 Line Loopback This test loops towards the DS3 line but excludes
the DS3 framer.
